BBBSC Awarded 2016 Large Nonprofit Organization of the Year

Posted: April 29, 2016

We are so proud to announce that Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado was named the Large Nonprofit of the Year by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce!

The annual award recognizes an organization that improves the quality of life in metro Denver and partners with the business community to achieve its mission.

On April 29, BBBSC CEO Dave Ryan accepted the award at the Chamber's Business Awards Luncheon.

"In 2016, we will support over 1,700 relationships between youth and volunteer mentors in the metro Denver and Colorado Springs areas," said Ryan. "We would not be able to make such an impact if it were not for the individuals and businesses in Colorado that believe in our mission."

We would also like to congratulate our Colorado peers who were recognized with the following awards:

Start-Up Business of the Year, Dispatch Heath

Small Business of the Year, Syncroness

Minority or Women-Owned Business of the Year, Gateaux Bakery

Green Business of the Year, RNL Design

Small Nonprofit of the Year, Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute
