Story 26 of 100: A Graduation Story

Posted: May 30, 2018

Little Sister J’Asia and her Big Sister Sabrina have a lot to celebrate this month! J’Asia soon graduates from high school and will move on to college, and she and Sabrina are celebrating their eight year anniversary as sisters!

J’Asia has many special memories with Sabrina, but truly appreciates the moments together when she was younger, simply going out to eat and baking everything in Sabrina’s house and singing a whole song of Justin Bieber together.Sabrina said everything they’ve done together is special because over the years she’s been given the chance to see J’Asia grow into such a kind and intelligent young woman.

J’Asia has big plans after graduation. She’ll be attending Colorado State University at Fort Collins with her entire first year paid for through numerous scholarships she worked so hard to earn. She’ll study biology and plans to go in to the medical field, something she told Sabrina she wanted to do when she was just 8 years old.The two plan to be lifelong friends and sisters.J’Asia said: “Because of Sabrina being in my life it makes me one day want to be a Big Sister myself.”
