    The Colorado Results First Initiative used data from our evidence-based programs for a rigorous cost-benefit analysis regarding youth we are serving in our state. They concluded that for every dollar invested into Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, it is projected that Colorado taxpayers and service recipients see a $4.04 benefit either directly or in the form of future avoided costs.

    Since Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado is celebrating our centennial this year, we’d thought we would take a trip down memory lane and travel back to the 80s for our sixth annual Dodgeball Classic! Join us for another year of ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging.

    April 28,2018 | Check-in at 9:30 a.m., Dodgeball play 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

    Air Force Academy | Cadet Field House | East Gym

    To support the proven power of one-to-one mentoring for children in our community.

    Team Fee:

    $360 per team (Early bird pricing! Team fee is $400 after March 30, 2018)

    Tournament Basics:

    Minimum player age is 18. Even with parental permission, we cannot permit anyone under the age of 18 to participate in the tournament.


    • Teams will be made up of 8-10 players.
    • Eight players compete per side.
    • At least two females must be on the court when play begins.
    • Teams may have up to two reserves on their roster available as substitutes.
    • When a substitution is made, males are required to substitute for males, and females are required to substitute for females.

    Rock your best 80s gear for this year's classic!


    • The tournament will have two stages: Group Play and Playoffs
    • Teams will be put in to groups and play in a round-robin format
    • Winner of each group will play in a four-team playoff
    • Each team will be guaranteed to play five matches. All matches will be best of three games.
    • Rules of the tournament are adapted from the National Dodgeball League's official rules.
