Match Ground Rules Info

Children have a right to always feel safe. Appropriate and positive interactions between Bigs and Littles are essential for positive youth development and building a safe and rewarding friendship.  Review our ground rules so that you can help keep our youth and yourself safe! 

KID BOOK 

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, your safety is very important to us.  We believe that you have the right to feel safe.  That includes when you are with your Big, your friends, teachers, your family - everyone you meet.  In this workbook, we're going to provide you with some tips and information that can help keep you safe and protected. 

TEEN WORKBOOK

This essential workbook is packed with practical tips and expert advice, and helps guide teens, parents and educators with the tools to navigate the complexities of teenage health and safety. From fostering positive habits to navigating challenges, empower your teens to thrive with this invaluable resource.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Gallup-Croze Scholarship application process: individual scholarships will be presented in increments of $5,000.  Applicants must be in their senior year of high school and plan to pursue continued, post-secondary education in the fall of 2024.  Awards will be made to a high school senior affiliated with any Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado Mentoring Program. Application deadline: midnight on Friday, April 26, 2024.

The BOK Financial & Big Brothers Big Sisters Colorado Scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who has been matched for at least one year in any BBBSC Program. Awards are given annually to seniors who have demonstrated a commitment to developing a strong mentoring relationship, collaborating to overcome challenges, and are working to pursue an achievable post- secondary plan after high school. The amount of the one-time award is $1,200.
