DaVita and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC) have partnered to support Colorado Youth since 2015. Together we have provided young people with career and college readiness opportunities and supported life-changing mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
This month DaVita sponsored the Sports Buddies holiday party by purchasing all the gifts for our Littles and hosting a gift-wrapping party with their team members. With over 85% of our Littles receiving free or reduced lunch, receiving a wanted gift during the holidays has a meaningful impact. On gift wrapping day, over 40 DaVita teammates volunteered to wrap all the gifts for the Littles prior to the Sports Buddies Holiday Party. Thanks to DaVita’s generosity, over 100 Littles received gifts and enjoyed a day of food, fun, holiday shopping, games, and crafts with their Bigs.
DaVita has been a consistent partner of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado for nearly a decade through event sponsorships, staff volunteerism, and service on the BBBSC Associate Board. We are thankful to have partners like DaVita who support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado in multiple ways to help provide opportunities for youth in our community and help them reach their full potential.
